Selma to Montgomery Interpretive Center Redevelopment Project
Project Owner: National Park Service, Washington, DC
Morgan Construction Management served at the Project Management in Selma, Alabama for the National Park Service’s Selma Interpretive Center Expansion Project which entailed the redevelopment of six (6) historic properties located in the historic district of Selma, Alabama. The expansion of the Selma Interpretive Center will host a generous exhibit space that reflects a broader range of narratives and interactive experiences, a range of visitor amenities and services, facilities that can comfortably accommodate space for ranger-led discussions, school events and screenings, and the new John Lewis’ Voting Rights Center. An approximately 1.54-acre of commercial properties will be redeveloped to include new architectural finishes, architectural tenant improvements, lighting, HVAC, fire suppression and protection systems, outside greened courtyard, IT/data/network infrastructure and exhibits.
City of Camden Division of Housing Property Inspection Project
Project Owner: City of Camden, NJ
The City of Camden contracted with Morgan Construction Management to provide building inspection, cost estimating and scope determination services for the residential housing and small commercial zone properties in the City of Camden. Morgan Construction Management investigated the current conditions of the properties and performed surveying services to generate definitive project scopes and estimates for bid documents to contractors. Morgan Construction Management responded to contractors’ RFIs during the Bid Phase, reviewed contractors’ bids and descoped awarded contractors.
Fort Belvoir Drainage Improvement Project
Project Owner: US Army Corp of Engineers, Fort Belvoir, VA
Morgan Construction Management served as Construction Quality Manager for the Drainage Improvements Project at Fort Belvoir Army Base in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The project entailed the site preparation to standard clearing and grubbing, cut and fill, grading, environmental protection structures, and demolition and replacement of underground utilities; and surrounding hardscape which is comprised of a concrete apron, sidewalks, and asphalt pavement. Site improvements included storm drainage, curb and gutter and landscaping.
US Mint Building Inspection Services Project
Project Owner: United States Mint, Philadelphia, PA
The United States Mint in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania contracted with Morgan Construction Management to provide building inspection services of all permanently fixed ladders, cage ladders, ladder accessing working platforms, and crossover ladders in accordance with OSHA standards CFR 29 Part 1910 Subpart D 1910.21 through 1910.30 inclusive – walking and working surfaces.
US Robert N.C. Nix Federal Courthouse New Roofing Replacement Project
Project Owner: General Service Administration, Philadelphia, PA
Morgan Construction Management provided Construction Management Services at the United States Robert N.C. Nix Federal Courthouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the complete replacement of the existing roofing system on a 77,613 square foot building. The project entailed a new modified bituminous membrane roofing system and the installation of tie-off anchors and roof drains.
US Custom House Window Repairs Project
Project Owner: General Service Administration, Philadelphia, PA
Morgan Construction Management provided Construction Management Services at the United States Custom House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the painting and selective repairs of windows in compliance with the Historical Preservation Society of Philadelphia at the United States Custom House.
Innovation and Manufacturing Center Fit-out Project
Project Owner: The Business Center, Philadelphia, PA
Morgan Construction Management is providing Owner’s Representative Services for the Innovation and Manufacturing Center Fit-out for The Business Center, a 501(c)(3) small business community center located in Northwest Philadelphia, PA. The project entails the fit-out of a 6,500 SF space. The proposed construction space will be converted into a shared workspace for the innovation and collaboration by a cohort of small businesses.
Rivera Recreation & Mann Older Adult Center Major Renovations Project
Project Owner: City of Philadelphia, Rebuilding Community Infrastructures (Rebuild)
Morgan Construction Management provided EOP (Equal Opportunity Plan) Monitoring and Project Support Services for the Major Renovations Project at the Rivera Recreation & Mann Older Adult Center in Philadelphia, PA. The project entailed major renovations and site improvements of the 5.4-acre property to include new building and envelope systems, gymnasium, athletic field, playground, fitness area, site furniture, public computer center and multipurpose rooms and a common entrance to promote intergenerational cohesion and full ADA access.
Make Offices Fit-out Project
Project Owner: Make Offices, Philadelphia, PA
Morgan Construction Management provided construction management services for the Make Offices Fit-out Project in Philadelphia, PA. The project entailed the complete fit-out on three (3) floors, approximately 33,000 square feet of space. The scope of work comprised of the installation all new a new HVAC system, lighting and power distribution, new drywall partitions, new ceilings, and new finishes, wall covering, painting and flooring.
